any of our program activities take place place at the Scandinavian Centre in Burnaby. The Sweden Room, with the Swedish library, is the venue for our membership meetings.

n the Swedish school, also located at the Centre, children meet once a week for lessons in the Swedish language. They learn about their heritage and celebrate Swedish traditions. Once a year we host a family camp at Evans Lake in Squamish (Friday-Sunday), where both parents and children get together for a wonderful outdoor experience.

olunteering is the glue that holds our community together. But its not only work.. You will meet lot of interesting people in a stimulating and rewarding environment. Our whole organization is based on volunteers, from fixing the centre to making ginger bread houses!
